Quick Analysis is retired. If you used Mogul Deal Evaluator before the retirement, some of your older deals may still be Quick Analyses — this guide is for converting them into the current deal workspace. (If you've never had a Quick deal, nothing here applies to you.)
Why convert
Quick and the current Deal Analysis were separate calculations, and everything Mogul Deal Evaluator builds today — the guided workspace, imports, scenarios, Maximum Purchase Price, current reports — lives in the deal workspace. Converting moves an old Quick deal onto the platform's one real path.
How it works
- If you have Quick deals, your Pipeline shows a banner: "Quick Analysis is retired. Convert them to the new Deal Analysis — figures carry over and your deal count stays the same."
- Use Review them to see exactly which deals are affected, or convert straight away — one deal or all of them at once.
- Conversion carries your figures into a detailed deal. It doesn't consume your deal allowance — a converted deal is the same deal, moved, not a new one.
- The converted deal appears in your pipeline as a normal Deal Analysis — open its Underwrite tab and continue there.
After converting: review before relying
Quick was a screening tool; the detailed workspace models more. Expect the progress card to ask for inputs Quick never captured — expense detail, financing specifics, projections. Your carried-over figures are the starting point, not a finished underwrite: walk the core sections before presenting the converted numbers.
Important things to know
- Conversion requires the advanced-underwriting capability on your plan; the banner shows the upgrade path if yours doesn't include it.
- Quick Analyses can no longer be created. The intake picker starts every new deal in the current workspace — there's nothing to go back to.
- Un-converted Quick deals may become read-only as the retirement completes — converting is always the way to keep editing.
- Public links you shared from a Quick deal aren't disturbed by the retirement machinery; convert when you're ready.
Common questions
- "Will converting change my numbers?" — Your figures carry over; the detailed model then computes more than Quick did, so expect additional (empty) inputs rather than altered ones.
- "I don't see the banner." — Then you have no Quick deals awaiting conversion; there's nothing to do.
- "Can I keep using the Quick deal as-is?" — For now it remains viewable, but it's a retired format — convert before you invest more work in it.
